Best Speaker, Lex Omnia Moot 2015, BITS, Pilani


Four students of the Faculty of Law, University of Allahabad – Aditi Kharbanda, Anshi Agarwal, Manu Gupta and Satyam Shukla participated in the Lex Omnia Moot Court Competition, 2015 held at BITS Pilani, Goa and qualified till the quarter-finals and the second speaker of the team, Aditi Kharbanda added a feather in the cap by bagging the ‘Best Speaker’ trophy. The students from the Faculty of Law have at many occasions represented the University of Allahabad in various Moot Court Competitions and brought laurels and made the faculty proud.

Winner Team, Ist P.A. Inamdar National Moot 2016


The first P.A. Inamdar National Moot Court Competition, 2016 on Educational Rights of Minorities was held at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Twenty Four teams from different Law Schools and Universities including NALSAR, BHU, Jamia Milia Islamia, Indraprastha, etc. participated. A team of B.A.LL.B. (Hons) Five Year Integrated Course, Faculty of Law, University of Allahabad comprising Utkarshni Singh, Niharika Singh Chauhan and Aditya Gupta won the competition, Niharika Singh Chauhan also bagged the Best Speaker Award. The Bench for final rounds comprised Hon'ble J.J. Sudhir Saxena, Rakesh Srivastav, Ranjan Roy, Lt. General Zameer Uddin Shah and Mr. P.A. Inamdar.

        The team was adjudged best and was awarded the winning trophy by Hon'ble Justice Sudhir Saxena. The team thanked Prof. B.P.Singh, Co-ordinator, B.A.LL.B. (Hons) Five Year Integrated Course, Faculty of Law, University of Allahabad and Dr. Sonal Shankar, Convenor, Moot Court Society for their help and support.

Runner up Team& Best Speaker


The three students of B.A.LL.B. (Hons): Five Year Integrated Course, Faculty of Law, University of Allahabad namely Saurabh Kesarwani, Pratiksha Kesarwani & Smriti Gupta participated in 5th National Moot Court competition, 2016 held at Bishop Cotton Women's Christian Law College, Bangalore The Competition was held at National Level in which 27 Teams of various Law Departments and Law Universities participated. Aforenamed students of Law Five Year Course of Allahabad University have won runner up and also bagged the best speaker award in male category. They have also been given cash prizes of Rs. 10,000.00 and Rs. 5,000.00 respectively. The students from the Faculty of Law have at many occasions represented the University of Allahabad in various Moot Competitions and brought laurels and made the Faculty proud.
